The 83RD Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, the largest Christmas celebration in America, presented and produced by Associated Television International, announces the line-up of legendary, award-winning artists for this year’s musical performances. The parade will be hosted by popular TV personalities Dean Cain, Laura McKenzie, Erik Estrada, and Montel Williams.
The high-energy live event packed with performances will kick off with the arrival of top film, television and musical talent as they appear on the world’s longest parade red carpet. Featured artists this year will include legendary Grammy Award, Academy Award and Golden Globe Award winning artist and Grand Marshal Stevie Wonder; Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame legends Earth, Wind & Fire; Grammy award winning artist Estelle; Australian Idol’s Guy Sebastian; Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame honorees HEART; platinum recording artist Jesse McCartney;Pop/Rock sensations R5;American rock icon Richie Sambora with powerhouse Australian guitarist Orianthi; Acclaimed singer/songwriter/actress/producer and Hollywood native Rita Wilson; and Billboard chart topping artist Taylor Dayne. George Thorogood and his family will be riding in one of the official parade cars.
Artists will thrill live fans with performances on two elevated stages front-and-center in the heart of Hollywood Boulevard for an unforgettable experience for the excited spectators, as well as broadcast viewers nationwide.
A true Hollywood tradition for over 80 years, the parade attracts over 1 million in attendance each year with larger than life inflatable character balloons and celebrity filled cars making the much heralded trek down the over 3 mile parade route. The 83rd Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade is a nationwide primetime television event, premiering as a two-hour special December 10th at 4:00 p.m. on Hallmark Channel with an additional run on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on December 19th at 5:00 p.m. The show will also be broadcast throughout the month of December on more than 350 stations including KTLA in Los Angeles on December 19th at 8:00 p.m. The parade will also air to over 1 million American servicemen and women worldwide on Armed Forces Network.

George Thorogood & The Destroyers To Kick-Off 40th Anniversary National U.S. & Canadian Tour

George Thorogood & The Destroyers will be kicking off their 40th Anniversary with a 2014 national U.S. and Canadian tour starting February 27. The first leg of the tour will take off in the U.S. from February 27-March 22, then hit Canada from April 30-May 24, and then back to the U.S. for dates from June 19-July 20. Additional shows will be announced for the duration of the celebratory year. Touring in relation to their Universal Music Enterprises George Thorogood & The Destroyers ICON album and Eagle Rock Entertainment’s live DVD titled Live At Montreux, Thorogood and his band will give audiences the opportunity to hear their greatest hits live such as “Bad To The Bone,” “I Drink Alone,” “Who Do You Love,” “One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer,” and many more.

George Thorogood and his longtime band The Destroyers – whose current lineup includes: Jeff Simon (drums, percussion), Bill Blough (bass guitar), Jim Suhler (rhythm guitar) and Buddy Leach (saxophone), have released 16 studio albums, with two Platinum albums and six Gold albums. Taking the stage for the first time on December 1, 1973, the band has established themselves as a mega successful powerhouse rock group with bar roots, unchained attitude, and a love of its country and blues history.
