GTD Says Goodbye to two very dear friends
George Thorogood and The Destroyers, along with the rest of the world said goodbye to two music legends. Music lovers had a tough week recently when Bobby Keys and Ian McLagan joined the angel band. Bobby Keys, the larger-than-life saxophone player who toured with the Rolling Stones for more than 45 years and played on studio classics like "Brown Sugar" and "Live With Me," passed away, he was 70. Ian McLagan, keyboard player for the Small Faces and the Faces, died at age 69, due to complications from a stroke. Rock on and Rest in Peace friends!

The 83RD Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, the largest Christmas celebration in America, presented and produced by Associated Television International, announces the line-up of legendary, award-winning artists for this year’s musical performances. The parade will be hosted by popular TV personalities Dean Cain, Laura McKenzie, Erik Estrada, and Montel Williams.
The high-energy live event packed with performances will kick off with the arrival of top film, television and musical talent as they appear on the world’s longest parade red carpet. Featured artists this year will include legendary Grammy Award, Academy Award and Golden Globe Award winning artist and Grand Marshal Stevie Wonder; Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame legends Earth, Wind & Fire; Grammy award winning artist Estelle; Australian Idol’s Guy Sebastian; Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame honorees HEART; platinum recording artist Jesse McCartney;Pop/Rock sensations R5;American rock icon Richie Sambora with powerhouse Australian guitarist Orianthi; Acclaimed singer/songwriter/actress/producer and Hollywood native Rita Wilson; and Billboard chart topping artist Taylor Dayne. Making a guest appearance, George Thorogood and his family will ride in one of the official parade cars.
Artists will thrill live fans with performances on two elevated stages front-and-center in the heart of Hollywood Boulevard for an unforgettable experience for the excited spectators, as well as broadcast viewers nationwide.
A true Hollywood tradition for over 80 years, the parade attracts over 1 million in attendance each year with larger than life inflatable character balloons and celebrity filled cars making the much heralded trek down the over 3 mile parade route. The 83rd Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade is a nationwide primetime television event, premiering as a two-hour special December 10th at 4:00 p.m. on Hallmark Channel with an additional run on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on December 19th at 5:00 p.m. The show will also be broadcast throughout the month of December on more than 350 stations including KTLA in Los Angeles on December 19th at 8:00 p.m. The parade will also air to over 1 million American servicemen and women worldwide on Armed Forces Network.

Notodden will rock this summer! After much waiting, fans can finally experience George Thorogood & The Destroyers at the Notodden Blues Festival. The "Demand for George Thorogood has been tremendous, and has only increased with time. Many fans can now rejoice that it is confirmed that the popular blues-rocker will be performing at the Notodden Blues Festival Saturday August 1st, "says festival director Jostein Forsberg. Having celebrated his 40th anniversary throughout 2014, George Thorogood & The Destroyers have now inventured on a new comprehensive "Badder Than Ever Tour" for 2015 and the tour plan leads him to Notodden.
Four decades on the road has honed George Thorogood & The Destroyers into a well-functioning blues / rock 'n' roll machine. The band has built a strong repertoire that has followed them from smoke filled small clubs in the 1970’s to today's big festival stages. George Thorogood to be part of Benefit Concert-Honoring Pat "Paraquat" Kelley
KMET on air-personality Pat "Paraquat" Kelley was a fixture on Southern California radio for over a decade. In 2003, Pat was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and he's currently battling the advanced stages of the disease. Award winning musicians, KMET alumni and friends are bringing their talents and efforts together for a one-night special event at the Canyon Club, Agoura, Sunday, December 14th at 7:30 pm in recognition of Pat's unstoppable spirit and courage.
Confirmed performers include George Thorogood, Janiva Magness, Paul Barrere, Waddy Wachtel, Peter Stroud, Dan Navarro, Kiki Ebsen, Michael Ann Azoulai, Bill Champlin, Prescott Niles, Christina La Rocca, Julian Sha-Tayler, Riley Biederer, Angeles Band and special guests-To Be Announced.
